Our Story
Why Zippy Stars exists
Zippy Stars Montessori School was established and its activities directed through years of intensive prayer, fasting and vision. The Montessori way of learning was adopted for the activity-based, hands-on principles it is built on — an approach that allows children to learn through understanding and doing, rather than simply being told. Alongside the academic program, the school places real weight on the physical dimension of learning: activities that build dexterity, balance, and an appreciation for shape, colour and size. Together, these elements lay the building blocks for a child's future learning and their capacity to engage with new ideas.
The school is committed to on-going self-appraisal and quality improvement. We provide many opportunities for children to develop independence, through an environment designed to let them explore and grow safely — supported by Montessori and Ghana Education Service (GES) curricula that meet each child's intellectual and creative needs.
