Academics
Montessori method, Ghana Education Service standards
At Zippy Stars, our curriculum blends the Montessori method with the Ghana Education Service (GES) curriculum for change and sustainable development. Zippy Kids begin with Montessori-guided learning, then carry those skills forward into GES standards as they move into the lower primary level — balancing free choice with structure to meet each child's own intellectual and creative needs.
Montessori Method
Hands-on, self-directed activity that lets each child learn through doing, building independence, dexterity and a natural appreciation for shape, colour and size.
Ghana Education Service Curriculum
A standards-based curriculum for change and sustainable development, built around the 4Rs — Reading, wRiting, aRithmetic and cReativity — for every learner.
Development Areas
Every child grows across eight key areas
Both curricula are assessed against the same core areas of development — so a child's growth is understood as a whole, not just academic results.

Communication Skills
Building the confidence and vocabulary to express ideas clearly.
Literacy

Scientific Ideas & Attitudes
Curiosity-led exploration of how and why the world works.
Physical Development
Dexterity, balance and coordination built through purposeful activity.

Desire to Play & Learn
Protecting the natural curiosity and love of learning every child starts with.
